Fetchit keeps a record of every call, so you can look back at who called and see when your phone is busiest. You can see your calls in two places: on any computer running Fetchit, and on the Fetchit website.
On your computer
Choose Call History and Reports from the Fetchit menu in the system tray (on a Mac, the menu bar). The Reports window has two tabs.
Call History
A list of recent calls, newest first:
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Time | When the call came in. |
| Caller Number | The number that called. |
| Caller Name | The caller's name, when Fetchit recognized them. |
| Chart Number | The client's number in your business software, when they were recognized. |
Click Time or Caller Name to sort by it. The list updates by itself as new calls come in.
Right-click a call to:
- Copy Number, to paste it somewhere else.
- Open the caller's record in your business software, or Create a new client for a number Fetchit didn't recognize.
Usage Reports
Charts of how busy your phone is. Choose a Start date and End date (the last week, to begin with) and a Report Type:
- Calls per Hour shows the average number of calls at each hour of the day.
- Calls per Day shows the average number of calls on each day of the week, with a Top Days Breakdown table of your busiest days underneath.
Both split calls into Known callers, who matched a client, and Unknown callers, who didn't. A steady stream of unknown callers can be new business worth following up.
On the website
Members of your organization who are allowed to see call history have a Call History tab on your organization's page on the Fetchit website. It includes every call, not just the ones one computer saw, and adds:
- Search calls, to find a call by number or name.
- Duration, how long each call lasted.
- Status, what happened to the call.
- Click any call to see its details, including the client it matched.
A call's status is one of:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Completed | The call was answered and has finished. |
| Answered elsewhere | Someone else, on another phone, took the call. |
| Missed | Nobody answered. |
| Voicemail | The call went to voicemail. |
| Busy | The line was busy. |
| Cancelled | The caller hung up before it was answered. |
| Failed | The call didn't connect. |
| Ringing, Answered | The call is still going on. |
A caller with no name shows as "Unknown caller", and one who hid their number shows as "Withheld".
Whether someone can see call history depends on their role. See Your team and computers.
