This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage used by the Fetchit® website at fetchitdata.cloud. It forms part of our Privacy Policy.
The short version
Fetchit uses cookies only to sign you in and keep your account secure. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use analytics or tracking cookies to follow you around the web.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser so it can recognize your browser on later visits. Websites can also keep small pieces of information in your browser's local storage, which works in a similar way.
Cookies we use
All of the cookies below are strictly necessary: the website cannot sign you in or keep your account secure without them.
| Cookie | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
next-auth.session-token | Keeps you signed in. On secure connections it is named __Secure-next-auth.session-token. | Until you sign out, or it expires |
next-auth.csrf-token | Protects sign-in and account forms from being submitted by another website. | Until you close your browser |
next-auth.callback-url | Remembers which page to return you to after signing in. | Until you close your browser |
next-auth.state, next-auth.pkce.code_verifier | Protect the sign-in exchange when you sign in with Google or another provider. | A few minutes |
fetchit.sudo | Records that you recently confirmed your identity, so sensitive changes do not ask again straight away. | 15 minutes |
Other browser storage
| Name | What it does |
|---|---|
theme | Remembers whether you chose the light or dark appearance. |
fetchit:last-organization:… | Remembers which organization you last worked in, so the website opens on it. |
When an error occurs on the website, our error monitoring provider may use your browser's session storage to capture the steps that led to it, so we can diagnose the problem. See our Privacy Policy.
Third-party content
The Fetchit homepage includes a demonstration video from YouTube. When you play it, YouTube may set its own cookies, which are covered by Google's privacy policy rather than this one.
The desktop application
The Fetchit desktop application does not use cookies. It keeps its settings, including the credential that keeps the computer signed in, and its log files in the application's folder on the computer.
Controlling cookies
Most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies. Because the cookies above are needed to sign in, blocking them will stop you from signing in to the Fetchit website. Clearing them signs you out.
Changes to this policy
If we start using a new cookie, or use one for a new purpose, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
