To recognize callers, Fetchit keeps a copy of your client list from your business software. The Clients tab on your organization's page on the Fetchit website lets you browse it. It's a quick way to check who Fetchit knows, and why a caller did or didn't match.
Who can see it
Client records are sensitive, so the Clients tab only shows for people whose role includes browsing clients. By default that's your organization's admins. See Your team and computers.
The client list
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Client | The client's name, with their number in your business software underneath. |
| Phone numbers | The numbers on file. When there are several, one is shown with a count of the rest. |
| Their email address. | |
| Address | Their address. |
| Last call | When they last called, or "Never". |
Sort by Client or Last call. Use Search by name or number to find someone. Searching a full phone number also asks your business software directly, so you can find a client even if they're very new.
A client's details
Click a client to see:
- General: their phone numbers, email and address, and when they first and last called.
- Calls: a chart of their calls, and See all calls to open their calls in Call History.
- Objects: other records linked to them in your business software.
How up to date it is
Fetchit refreshes its copy of your client list every hour, and adds clients as it matches them on calls and searches. So a client added in your business software a few minutes ago may not show here yet. They'll appear after the next refresh, and live lookups when a call comes in usually find them anyway.
The Clients tab is for viewing only. To change a client's details, change them in your business software, and Fetchit picks up the change on its next refresh.
If it's empty
- "No CRM is connected": your organization hasn't connected its business software yet. See Setting up your organization.
- "No clients on file yet": the connection is set up but the first copy of your client list hasn't arrived. Check back after the next hourly refresh.
If it stays empty, contact support.
